Max Parish
Biographical Sketch
Max was saved by the Grace of God in his late teen years. Since that time, Max has felt a call to devote his life to evangelism through the study and articulation of philosophically sound and existentially compelling answers to the skeptic. Currently residing in Fresno, California, Max and his wife Jenny are active members in the First Reformed Presbyterian Church of Fresno. Max is currently preparing for a life in ministry by studying Philosophy and English through the University of Illinois’ online program. After completing his B.A., Max plans to pursue graduate training with Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Academic Interests
- Value theory, and moral arguments for the existence of God
- Determinism and free will in relation to morality and metaphysics
- The philosophical and theological “problem” of God and evil
- The philosophical and theological thought of C.S. Lewis
